The Forgotten Cemetery Clean-Down

Just 24 hours after we spent the day cleaning up the long neglected Peck Burial Ground in Attleboro, I returned to gather a few more photos of the results. I was greeted by the flowers Cambria weaved into the gate, followed by a heart breaking sight. Everything we did yesterday had been dismantled and destroyed by someone. All the crosses that I hand made, painted, and stained had been ripped from the ground and thrown in a pile, continuing the trend of letting the gravestones deteriorate to the point where they are no longer visible. All of the flowers that Crystal and Angelea brought were taken from the graves and thrown about. The rock border Keti Fallout made around the center stone had been taken apart and thrown against the fence. Pretty much, we spent six hours in the 90 degree heat yesterday working our asses off, and now it looks like we did nothing more than mowed the lawn.
